Great place. Quiet atmosphere but welcoming to all. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. The sushi is excellent. Staff was great. I will be back again.

Their staff is extremely helpful and accomidating, their food is excellent and their hot towel before you begin your meal is a wonderful addition to an already great experience. I will be back again soon! I ordered a specialty roll and a regular roll and left feeling full, which is the FIRST time I have ever left any sushi place actually full. Well done and thank you!

Amazing sushi and tempura. We had a wide selection of rolls and all were delicious. The seafood and vegetable tempura was fried perfect and had great flavors.

This was my second time visiting this restaurant. The first time I got take out. This time my boyfriend and I went on the whim on a Saturday night. We were seated near the door and he asked to be moved to a corner seat. We were the only ones seated there then shortly after more people came in and it got filled. One waitress brought us hot towels then left. The people seated around us who came in after us had drinks before us. We started looking around because we thought it was strange. It took about 15 minutes for another to come back and take our food and drink order after serving everyone around us. The food was good. We would most likely not dine in and just order take out next time.

A chance encounter... ended up at Sushi Yama on a whim. Taking the options available on a week day holiday, we chose to venture 30 mins away. Was not disappointed! Staff greeted us immediately but did not hover, very prompt service. Rolls were very fresh - even the ginger seemed to have been a vital consideration, rather than an obligatory 'condiment'. Cute fruity after dinner... gum 🤗

Sushi Yama has an awesome atmosphere, great service, good prices, and the food is delicious every time sushi and otherwise. This place is a personal favorite of my and my girlfriend and I highly recommend it. This place is definitely worthy of 5 starts but I like to leave room for growth. Enjoy!

Not a sushi fan AT ALL, but I love when my hubby takes me on dates here. The chicken is so great and they have a lot of options. We order take out all of the time!

I just came from here. I walked in and placed an order to go. 5 piece eel roll. When it's finished, I take my order and open it to eat at work and it's a 5 piece shrimp tempura roll instead. I was okay with it but then I took a few bites.. the shrimp was not peeled fully & the roll itself was overall just very flavorless. A bit disappointing.

The sushi here is inexpensive. Example: a roll of Spicy Tuna is $5.50. Not only is it delicious, but the sushi chefs really take pride in the presentation, so it comes out beautiful and adorned with sauces and edible flowers.

My favorite restaurant for sushi. The food is delicious and service is friendly and attentive. If you go in a small group, try to sit at the sushi bar to watch the sushi being made.

Food is always so delicious as well as the service! Definitely try the amazing yummy yummy roll and the lobster dynamite roll 🤙

I love the sushi here! Fish is properly sliced, rice is cooked and seasoned perfectly. Good kitchen and sushi appetizers. I highly recommend any of the special items like the live scallop, Aji, orange clam, uni, or abalone. However, I have only given four stars due to the service being somewhat slow sometimes.

We have been coming here at least once every two weeks or so for the past year! The sushi is always fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly staff and the prices are fair. 10/10 would recommend. We always order the sushi deluxe and Alaskan rolls!

I've never been disappointed! Everything is always very fresh.Even with all of the raw seafood that's being served, you wouldn't even know you're in a restaurant that serves seafood. Absolutely no seafood smell...Cindy, the hostess, always makes it a point to make sure all of her customers are satisfied with their meals.All of the sushi chefs are artists.Not only are their creations delicious, they are also amazing works of art.Returned for dinner tonight (1/18). City sushi in small town America. Creative sushi preparations with an emphasis on presentation. I personally ask for the sauces on the side, they can overwhelm the more subtle flavors of the fish. Tempura rock shrimp is the real thing, regular tempura shrimp looks like it is out of the freezer and lacks flavor. A nice place for dinner with friends and family.

Sushi Yama was really good. The restaurant was quiet staff was attentive and the food was great. We got the pink roll and it was excellent.

Today was our first time here. My husband and I shared 5 different sushi rolls and they were all delicious. We had a spicy tuna, yellowtail tuna, dynamite, crazy eel, and a sex on the beach (on the weekly specials). The atmosphere was very relaxing, clean and modern. The table behind us ordered some cooked food send it smelled amazing. I will deginitely be trying something cooked next time!

I visit this unique restaurant every couple of days since I love the special air that is characterizes this restaurant. The personel is highly cordial and professional. The service is pretty quick. Most important, the food they serve is good. I ate there more than once and I was always joyful. The rate is reasobable. I highly recommend this place to to all.

We like a lot eating out. Last night we visited this delicious place which friends recommended to us. We spent a delightful evening there with exceptional food and an efficient crew and a professional chef. We put this place in our list and we shall certainly visit again very soon. The chef is phenomenal and they are all so friendly! The Manhattan roll is my favorite with yellowtail, mango and gold!

The food is really good, staff is friendly. It gets a bit crowded as it is very popular and it feels a bit like the people waiting for a table are staring at you. However, the atmosphere and food more than makes up for it. Great place to go if you like sushi.

Food was good, service was not so great. Took 20 mins for them to take our order and another 50 mins for us to get our sushi. We had to inhale our food to make it on time too a movie that we had set out 2 hours just for dinner.

My friends car died in their parking lot and so we had to jump it. The people working came out started recording us, got in their car and revved their engines at us as well. I find it very disrespectful as my friend was clearly very upset and they took videos of us for about 30 minutes.

Delicious fresh sushi. Lots of options. They have a general dining area and a smaller party room which is nice for privacy. Servers are friendly. You can wait a little for food since it is freshly made.

I prefer this venue very much. there is a very nice mood. The kitcen is splendid. the service is efficient and the waiters are trained. The cost is fair. I warmly recommend.
